Coin poems!

I hope everyone is enjoying their extra LONG weekend!

Over the break, you may want to practice counting your coins and use these poems to help...

Penny, penny
easily spent
Copper brown
and worth 1 cent!

Nickel, nickel
thick and fat,
you’re worth 5 cents
I know that!

Dime, dime
little and thin
Has two dots
and is worth 10!
Quarter, quarter
big and bold,
you’re worth 25
so I’m told!

Good Luck 5th Grade!

Our 5th graders at TCE took a writing test today so we had a writing parade yesterday to cheer them on and wish them luck!

We made signs to hold during the parade...

Way go 5th grade! We know you did a great job!

I wish...

March is the month of good luck and wishes!

To gear up for St. Patrick's Day, we wrote what we wished for...

We wished to be famous, cowboys, princesses and to have new cars and motorcycles!

My wish for my class is that we can all have fun while mastering our standards!
